6 Tips for improved searches
Broad Search- For search terms “lookup cache” it will search informatica help for lookup and cache both.
Phrase Search- You need to put in double quotes to search the help for exact phrase. Example – “Lookup cache”.
The AND operator- You need to use AND operator to search help for two phrase. Example- “Lookup cache” and “caches”, this will get pages having booth the phrases.
The OR operator- Two pull help pages with either of phrase use OR operator. Example- “Lookup cache” or “caches”.
No operator specified- Default operator in case of multiple phrase search is AND.
Title Search- you can search informatica help title just by checking check box mentioned as Title search.
Search within result sets- Enable this check box if you want to search something in an already searched result set.
Match similar words- If checked it will give broader search result. Example: Search for “Lookup” will have help pages with “Lookups” also.
